Summer Missions Trips

As your ministry finalizes your summer missions trips, we offer a few ideas to make the trip as safe as possible.

A signed activity participation agreement from each person going on the trip. A well-written agreement spells out the risks involved in participating in the trip and documents emergency contact information, as well as medical information such as allergies. Finally, the agreement should establish a covenant. In exchange for their ability to participate in the activity, participants agree not to sue the church and to reimburse the church for any legal damages. If the traveler is a minor, the agreement should be signed by both parents or legal guardian.

Photocopies of each team member’s health insurance card, passport, and visas, if applicable.

Contact information for the nearest American embassy or consulate, as well as local police.
